Preventing damage to concrete – or restoring it correctly when deterioration has occurred – is crucial to the long-term durability of structure and pavement.
Though concrete is a versatile, durable, and cost-effective material, it is not indestructible. Weather, water, and time can take a heavy toll on the condition of concrete surfaces. When left damaged and/or unprotected, moisture, salt, pollutants, and other chemicals can further penetrate the porous material. Prolonged infiltration of these damaging elements results in unsafe and unsightly cracking, flaking, chipping, and spalling, eventually leading to costly failure. Before any restorative work can begin, the underlying cause of an existing problem must be properly identified and mitigated.
Blinderman Concrete’s professionals are readily able to diagnose structural and cosmetic concerns. Armed with extensive expertise and a broad knowledge-base of innovative products and methods, the team will prescribe the correct process and materials to provide a long-term, durable solution that fits within the budget parameters.
