Lake County Courthouse Parking Garage

This project consisted of the rehabilitation of an existing three-level parking garage at the Lake County Court House.

The parking garage was in need of various repairs throughout the structure. Allowing partial public use of the structure throughout most of the project, Blinderman Concrete performed a variety of repairs including partial and full-depth concrete repair, joint stitching, expansion joint replacements, caulk joint replacements, beam replacements, and the removal and replacement of existing traffic coatings. Beyond the repair elements, Blinderman also completed a full mill and overlay of the asphalt parking on-grade, repair and replacement of steel pan staircases, as well as 100% lighting replacement and garage painting. Despite a 30% increase in repair quantities due to greater-than-expected steel repairs, Blinderman was able to reach substantial completion with minimal delays.
