Ozark National Scenic Riverways - Rehabilitate Cabins, Lodge, Landscape, and Utilities at Big Springs

​​Rehabilitate Cabins, Lodge and Landscape at Big Springs – This project will rehabilitate historic structures, including the historic dining lodge and cabins, site features, and cultural landscape. The work includes repair & replacement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, removal of non-historic finishes, interior & exterior renovation, abatement of hazardous materials, installation of fire suppression systems, and structural damage repairs. Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards requirements shall be addressed. Landscape rehabilitation includes addressing water drainage issues, replanting native and historic vegetation, stabilization of stone & rock retaining walls, and repair & replacement of wooden stairs, flagstone steps, sidewalks, and site features. Additionally, work will be done to repair the damage caused by 2017 flooding, rehabilitation of trails & walkways, and associated accessibility improvements. 

Concrete Division Scope – Blinderman Concrete has a large scope in conjunction with the general contractor on this project. Blinderman concrete will be performing all of the site demolition, excavation and grading for the project as well as decorative concrete retaining walls, exposed aggregate sidewalks, site furnishings and the building of a new boat dock.
